Something went wrong with my save files and my saves from before mitzi boss fight was wiped. This probably is some personal issue considering no one has reported it before, but I thought I might as well mention it in case anyone else has the same issue.
I love the story and concept but i got 3 questions
1: How far are you with chapter 10, i under stand its a lenghty progress
2: A neat feature to add could be to have the abilty to replay encounters like vore and such , or have an option to play vore scenes etc wihtout impacting gameplay if that makes sense.
3: They all talk alot about eating each other.. could that be a hint that they could do that in the feature? (not nessecarly messing with the story line but just as a side thing?)
rough estimate from experience in VX Ace is that its a long process of scripting making the animations and maps (thats with me putting in minimal effort) than you got to make a char model for all 4 directions plus a stepping model while walking for any new char they add and all and all at best a few months thats me estimating though so take this with a grain of salt
Hey, big fan of the game and havnt played in quiet a bit (like chapter 6 or 7 no joke) but just wondering if i could play it on joiplay for Android or if it's going to get an Android availability in the future? ^_^
There probably won't be a dedicated android version anytime soon haha, but I've heard that playing it with joiplay should work just fine if you wanna do that!!
It works pretty goodish but it crashes quite a bit whenever it transition into battle straight after dialouge, says something about cannot set properties to null so I'm basically stuck and can't progress past black Renee so I'm just planning to skip to chapter 9 unfortunately
I think I am softlocked in the mountain part??? when i try to eat blue drone it targets green, when i attack green it goes to blue?? literally bug made game unplayable, is this known or fixable?
Yeah, that's a known bug, the plugin I use for the vore mechanics in battle can get weird with targeting sometimes. I don't exactly have a clean -fix- for it per se, but I have reorganized a lot of the enemies in the coming update so hopefully it'll be less prevalent of an issue then!!
Absolutely keen as well to see Chapter 10. As much as I want you to take your time, I also interested in a progress update like we talking a week or month wait till release?
Progress is still going smoothly, though it'll still be a bit before release (It's shaping up to be a really big overhaul!!), but don't worry- I'll definitely post about it once a solid release date is in sight!!
Note: if sliding in the crystal cave, you must use arrow keys instead of mouse inputs. If you use the mouse, you slide once and if you don't end up somewhere un-slippery the game will not allow you to click elsewhere and the game will appear as if it is frozen (music continues but can't move or open the menu...)
I just beat Mitzi, and have boarded the train, but I forgot to buy a postcard, and the 100% completionist in me is mad about it. Is there a way to revisit older places later in the story, or would I have to make an entire new safe file if I wanted to get everything I missed?
The train itself you'll be able to revisit but also there's a shady guy in New Pax (the big main city) that'll sell you any postcards from areas you can't return to!
A couple hours in now and I love this game so far! I cannot stop cackling at the fact that you used the Star Trek theme for this. My jaw actually dropped when I heard it the first time lol
I'm really glad you're enjoying it!! I think the original series theme is suuuuper underrated haha, plus it fits the retro 70s rainbow vibe the UI's got going for it!!
There's a few minigames you'll be able to play to grind for money later on!! Though you'll honestly be able to afford most of the important items from shops and stuff just by playing through the story normally haha
I take it you aren't the heroic type lol. And yeah of the many vore games I have played very few have preds in the mc role. Guess prey are too common T^T (Though not a bad thing for me >:3)
Have you tried Nyan Adventure or God Complex, they have switch mcs? Though you can avoid being prey for the most part, I think there are a few scenes that are unavoidable. Though in God Complex you can churn people instead of having them as companions which seems like your cup of prey.
probably a dumb question but will all the patreon side stories come out publicly when the final chapter releases? (obviously okay if not, base game is peak as it is, just curious)
All the bonus scenes will stay Patreon-exclusive! I'm actually planning to continue working on games like this once Evoria is done so the patreon will still be up and running with new bonus content and behind-the-scenes stuff even after this game is done!
Im curius, were is the fifth mission in chapter 7? I finished the book quest, baught the house, went to fliks factory and won the beer drinking competition. I searched trough the whole city but i didnt find anything
If you check the podiums in the Adventurer's Guild with the question marks over them, they should tell you which quests you've missed! (If there aren't any question marks then you're good to continue the main story, more sidequests will unlock later haha)
in the icy stage of chapter 9 when you can slide on the ice, the second room with the massive slippery part is seemingly impossible to pass, no matter what angle i go from i always run into a wall and grt stuck
I genuinely am excited for the next chapter and am loving the story. As an aspiring writer, I look to works of art like this game and am amazed by how much is packed into it. I hope you are well, and I will keep myself excited for what is to come in the future.
Thank you so much, that really means a lot!!! One of the best pieces of writing advice I've ever got was that you've gotta let yourself suck at it for a bit. The more you do it, the more you get into a rhythm and the better your stuff'll get!! (Honestly, I think some of the earlier areas in Evoria are kinda underdeveloped, especially compared to the newer stuff haha)
I thought the earlier stuff was something that drew me in for the rest of the game! If you do need any help, not saying you might need some, I’m always happy to help.

There's a slight issue when you go to replay this story, it just gives you the Chapter 9 Ending Dialogue-

Can i move my old safe file to the new version?
Yes, as long as your old save is from version 0.8.0 or higher! Just copy everything from the "save" folder of your old build into the new one!
are mitzi's fish in new pax and all the fish you catch near wisp village supposed to be filled in when the database updates after manor
